GO ON!
25 April 2015
Life's challenges call upon our untapped potential. If we are to rise through solving these challenges, we need to be and do what we have not been or done before. This requires effort, this requires thinking, this requires a willingness to be humble, to say "I don't know, but I'll work to figure it out". Courage is required, since fear of the unknown will be present. And what is the prize? The prize is being proud of our ability to persevere through difficulties, and to walk upon this earth knowing we are not cowards, but brave.
The prize is to experience both ourselves and a world full of possibilities waiting to be discovered and created. This is the path of those who are farsighted, who embrace the present while being eager to create a new and better future. This is the path of those who are passionate about living. This is the path of those who, at the moment of death, will say, "I did what I did, and it was good".
What does it take to live like this? Is this kind of living available to us all? Can we all be courageous? Can we all surpass petty fears to be a better human being? Can we all value more than physical pleasures, choosing to live in love, full of love and for love?
I believe this path is accessible to all, but not all want this; not all see what is possible and not all see they can be better. Not all are aware that there is within each a self waiting to be crafted, molded and built to its maximum beauty. This is why it is up to us who are on the path to remind others that there is a way out of our internal hell, which is a place full of fear, doubt, insecurities, depression, anger and hate.
There is not much we can lose by choosing to live according to what we see as the best, if what we value the most is the betterment of ourselves and others. All other attachments are superficial. What can be more valuable than our self esteem, our self love and the love of others and everything? What can be more important than seeing the potential of someone we love being realized, or even the realization of our own potential?
Do not doubt that there can be a better future for you; do not doubt that there can be a better you; do not doubt your capacity to earn what you want. Go for it, take a step, begin and do not stop until the moment of your death.
Dream high, very high, even if you never arrive, as what is most important is that you walk the walk, creating a path others may follow. Remember we are explorers, because we are not born all-knowing. There is much to learn, much to discover, much to create, much to laugh about and celebrate! There is much for which to be grateful, if we truly look at what we have in this present moment, today, in the here-and-now as you look about you, even while you read these words.
Spread the message with a smile, so the world knows one person is content and happy to be alive. Spread the word with a helping hand when you can, and spread the word with your work, that work which sustains you, and those you care about. Go on my friend, go on, never stop believing the world is good even if it pains you. Do not listen to the naysayers who criticize from an illusory high throne they wish they had, but have not earned. Believe only that all problems, as dark as they may seem, as difficult as they may appear, may have a solution you haven't seen yet.
And cry, cry as much as you can to remind you that you are human and you still care. Cry to say "I am in pain but I love life and being alive". Cry for joy and to celebrate; cry to say you are humbled by your limitations and frustrations. Cry, cry. Let those tears release your tension and then dance, sing and look up to the stars; look up to the sky and know you are alive.
Then please send me a message and tell me what is like to be you. I want to hear from you about the life that you choose, and what you want to improve.
Go on, go on, never stop living.
