KEEP YOUR HEAD UP
27 July 2015
No matter what, no matter where, no matter who and no matter when, you've got to keep your head up and see the world around you as a reflection of love. It will be difficult, it will be challenging, but the world is so much more than what we perceive. You may be abused, you may be lied about, you may be stolen from and critiqued. You may be used and taken for granted; your words may be twisted and used against you. Even then, keep your head up and smile within, knowing your soul is indestructible— even if your heart pains, even if your mind is confused, even if you are alone and with no one to support you but you.
Stay up and keep living, keep going, feel, think, decide your next move and take it, knowing it may be your last. And if it isn't, it may end up being a mistake. But so what my friend, so what?At the end you will say "I did it! I rode the waves of life and I engaged with living with all my might, with all my heart and mind." And even if you lose, you’d have lost only what is of less value, as in terms of character and strength, in love and passion you would have won.
Why cry then, my dear, for those things which can be replaced? No, no. Let your soul rise as a response to your pain. Let your soul dance in the middle of your tragedies and let your soul laugh at the actions done against you. As you know, and only you know, you are the witness and the perceiver, not the one most people see. And if someone can really see you, they would not want to harm you, unless they are afraid of the light.
My dear, my dear, stand up, rise up, keep your eyes open and don't forget beauty exists when ugliness comes around, don't forget the good of humanity when you experience the worst of it. No, no. Say yes to life and find your meaning; find your reason and live it to the fullest. This will take you to the highest places and give you the strength to fulfill your destiny, whatever that may be.
Here, here in this world, you have the choice to love or not, to see or not, to think or not. Choose, choose and don't be a slave to your lower nature and that of others. Choose your highest and nothing more. And if you fall and stand up, you will be stronger and wiser. If you don't, you will be dead and smiling from the other side.
My dear, my friend, remember there will be times of doubt; there will be times when fear will take over your mind and your heart. Know then that there lies an opportunity to engage with your inner demons so they can be cast out forever. They are confusions that fear can be stronger than love, that righteousness is better than wisdom, than money and the material is more than who we are, and that rules are to be followed no matter the price. No, no.
Say yes only to that which is good and let the rest crumble, even if you hear shouts and screams, even if the world demands you follow as they do. Follow your bliss and your will. Fly with them like an eagle to the sun shining upon the world. And if you are shot by darkness, it is not the light that dies, but the garment it carried for awhile.
It is the world who chooses and loses if the light is confused with danger, if the good is taken as bad, if those who help are taken as enemies. Carry on my dear, carry on and let your world be brightened by your eyes that can see beauty in tragedy, and love in the attacks. Carry on, carry on; keep your head up high and dance the tango of life.
