Be strong my dear

Be strong

Not for its own sake

Be strong to defend what’s worthwhile

Be strong to protect that which needs protection

Be strong to not let fear take over your love

Be strong to think when your emotions want to take over

Be strong to surrender your pride

Be strong to feel vulnerable when faced with anger and hate

Be strong to feel your weaknesses

Be strong to stand up and start again when you fall

Be strong to not punish yourself or others when in weakness

Be strong to be still when your impulses want to take you away

Be strong to take action even if your body hesitates

Be strong to look up at the night sky and be taken over by the aw of existence

Be strong to be strong

Then one day my dear

One day

You will wake up from the dream

And you will realize

You were always invincible

You were always indestructible
